The intent of this rebrand was to manifest a tone more akin to the glamorization found in disco music with the emotional sensuality of The Weeknd. In contrast to LCD's self-aware ironies and hipsterisms, the rebrand gives them a look oozing of sexual drive and inner longing and inspired by classic 80s covers with saturated lighting.
